Holistic Wellness in Mental Health: The Impact of Nutrition and Lifestyle Choice

This virtual workshop is designed to help mental health practitioners bridge the gap in their approach to traditional mental health counseling by using whole person care including integration of nutrition and lifestyle choices into the therapeutic modality and overall wellness and prevention measures.

  • Identify differences between traditional therapeutic modalities and holistic approaches

  • Recognize the impact of nutrition and lifestyle choice on depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders.

  • Utilize holistic health resources to improve client and self care

  • Assess current approach and determine ways to integrate holistic health and nutrition practices

  • Develop a preventative and integrative, holistic plan for self or current client

Upon attendance of the workshop and completion of the post workshop survey, participants will receive a certificate reflecting their fulfillment of the workshop via email within 48 hours.
